I’m very pleased with this app. I especially enjoy having multiple feeds. It has plenty of UI customizations. My complaints, however, are all list related. 1) sometimes when I go to add someone to a list from thier profile, my list options never load. 2) all list management features can not be accessed in one location. 3) There is no way to view which profiles are not in a list. 4) When viewing a profile, it’s not obvious to which of your lists they belong, if any.

It is attractive and easy to use. Swipable pages are very useful. It manages multiple accounts fairly well. It doesnt handle threads very well, though, especially if you want to interact with a post in the middle of the thread. Notifications for direct messages on a swipable page haven’t worked well for quite a well. All in all its fair, but not reliable enough.

I’ve had this app for years and loved it, but viewing any kind of media on it is a true test of patience anymore. You can literally wait minutes for a single photo to load and it still won’t, regardless of your network speed. Download a pic and it won’t even open the photo when you click on the notification when it’s done. WAY too much effort and time wasted to do such a basic thing. I don’t want to switch apps, but this is not even functional for me at the moment.

It’s pretty, and I’ve tried really hard to like it, but it’s just not for me. The primary deal-breaker is the navigation. Basic features like reading replies are unintuitive and just generally difficult to find. Worse, when dragging one’s finger on the screen in order to scroll, if you don’t stop scrolling *immediately* upon reaching the bottom of many views, the app interprets that as a request to go back to the previous screen! This makes using the app a generally frustrating experience.

Won’t let me upload video tweets. Can’t click on a person’s profile picture to see who likes a tweet. Issues formatting the on screen keyboard when tweeting a pic if I go from landscape to portrait. Late notifications. You only get them when the app is open. I really tried to give the app a chance. It’s been about 2 years.

Good and closest I could find to replace the old Finch app. But the issue with the Klinker guys is they always start and abandon projects. It’s not about spending money, I gladly pay for Pulse but it’s the complete change in design and abandoning something we were used to and we liked. It’s not like changing a car every 2 years. It’s like going from a boat to a bicycle and back every time.

It’s mostly pretty good, but two annoyances really drag it down. First and foremost, there does not appear to be any bookmarking functionality. There is an option to “Save for later”, which could act as a local bookmark functionality of sorts, but I have no idea how to find the tweets I’ve saved for later. Additionally, I have no idea where this app saves images, and as far as I can tell, there’s no way to verify or change this within the app. Otherwise, I mostly agree with the rave reviews.

Well, it’s better than Twitter proper, but that isn’t difficult to do. It’s really good at showing tweets in the order they are posted and I haven’t missed anything from people I follow. I like that you can download any attached pictures. HOWEVER, the app has many flaws. First, when trying to add pictures to your tweet, the photo editor is TERRIBLE. Cropping and rotating pictures are a nightmare. If a tweet is part of a thread, the app loads the ENTIRE thread (or tries to) and moves the view up to the top tweet leaving you to scroll all the way back down. Unfortunately, swiping down also cancels out of things means I accidentally cancel a lot of things while just trying to scroll. It’s ok if you’re desperate to avoid Twitter proper, but I’m looking for a new app.

Really solid app. Everything I liked about TweetCaster before it got abandoned and more. My only complaint is that the refresh button on the widget is quite small and hard to hit. I often accidentally hit the compose button instead. The Talon browser doesn’t seem to display entire articles too but I configured it to use external browser to resolve.

Very pretty, but terrible TERRIBLE UX design. I find myself opening twitter in a mobile browser just because this app is so confusing and unintuitive. For example, swiping down in most apps refreshes. In this one, it either closes the application entirely or refreshes depending on the context. I understand this was meant to be a feature (and will probably be met with some snarky comment based on the developer’s previous responses) but it just doesn’t work well. For whatever reason, tweet replies are chronological instead of by most popular. I’m sure I could change this somewhere, but no sorting or filter is immediately visible on that screen and I assume I’d need to dive into settings. You’ll often find yourself struggling to make it back to the main menu in this app. I’ve found the only way sometimes is to force quit and reopen. Note that my complaints are non exhaustive and shouldn’t be considered the only things I find difficult. I would recommend investing in user testing to fix these issues.
